Dean's Innovation Fund

Here at SCS, we turn to the SCS Dean's Innovation Fund to quickly support new ideas that emerge during the year that aren't covered by the operational budget or research grants.

Your gift to the Dean’s Innovation Fund gives our dean flexibility and speed to respond to unexpected needs, challenges and opportunities or to improve the quality of life for graduate and undergraduate students.

In the past, we’ve used gifts to this current-use fund to: establish the world’s first artificial intelligence undergraduate major; develop and deploy a new online teaching platform during the COVID-19 pandemic; fund cutting-edge projects in haptics, soft manipulator robots and accessible tech; and launch the groundbreaking AI-driven Biomedical Research Center (AI4BIO).
