Carnegie Mellon Robotics Academy studies how educators can use robots to teach Computer Science, Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics (CS-STEM). We use robotics to create opportunities for all learners, developing research-based solutions that are classroom-tested, so we know kids will enjoy and learn from them.
At the Robotics Academy we develop accessible curricula, training, tools, games and platforms that help bridge the gap between K-12+ learning and real-world needs. The Academy also offers professional development courses and certifications for thousands of teachers and coaches, and partners with schools, workforce boards, nonprofits and industry to implement robotics education and training programs.
Your CMU Giving Day support allows us to develop and distribute resources that empower students of every age and workers of every discipline with real-world skills in robotics, automation and programming.
