About

At the Computational Biology department, we prioritize innovation in computational and quantitative thinking, drive biomedical research and practice, pioneer new directions in the field, bring rigorous data-driven science to the planning and execution of biomedical research and educate a diverse group of future leaders of life sciences and medicine.

Our students, those future leaders, are the lifeblood of our department — and they work very hard! That’s why we established the Computational Biology Student Experience Fund. Your gifts to this fund provide students with equipment, hardware and software, and research project funding, but the fund is also flexible enough for us to meet other student needs — like social events to connect with each other, or travel and conference expenses to expand their networks.

Your Giving CMU Day gift to the Computational Biology Student Experience Fund goes directly to support our hardworking students. Thank you!
