In CMU’s Department of Engineering and Public Policy (EPP), we pursue work at the intersection of science, technology, and society. Our culture of innovation, curiosity, and interdisciplinary collaboration is unique in higher education, inspiring our passionate students to tackle pressing policy challenges in areas where the engineering details really matter to the societal outcomes—such as climate change, national security, AI and automation, disaster response, misinformation, privacy, and critical infrastructure.

Established in honor of founding EPP department head, M. Granger Morgan, this fund is dedicated to ensuring EPP students have what they need to thrive and affect real change.
