Gifts to Class of 1996 : Supporting Students contribute to...
Maize & Blue Daize (April 9–14) is upon us—a six-day week that somehow feels like both a celebration and a slightly surreal tradition we all understand without fully explaining. It’s a chance to reconnect with Carleton, with each other, and with the wonderfully specific experience we all once shared.
At its heart, Maize & Blue Daize is about supporting students. Alumni gifts help make the Carleton experience possible: funding opportunities, strengthening community, and reminding current students that there’s a wide network of people rooting for them. In a complicated world, that kind of support matters—it’s a small but meaningful act of optimism.
And this year, there’s a little extra incentive: every gift from the Class of 1996 will be matched with an additional $96. It’s a simple way to make your support go just a bit further (and yes, we appreciate the numerical poetry of it).
Our class goal is $200,000 in support of students. You can help by giving, spreading the word, or simply staying connected in whatever way feels right.
No need to overthink it. Just show up, in the way you can.
For the students—and for us.
The class of 1996 is officially halfway to their goal for Maize and Blue Daize! Keep connecting and sharing the word so we can support todays Carls!

The Class of 1996 is 20% of the way to the goal of 30 gifts during Maize and Blue Daize to support students!
