Funds are allocated for this program, which is designed to provide incentives for Sandburg faculty and staff to launch new and innovative efforts, rather than supporting maintenance of ongoing efforts. Projects are required to be of larger scope, as the grant is a once-a-year opportunity aimed for strategic opportunities intended to impact department and student success.
"Innovation Grants are available in part because of donor generosity," said Eric B. Johnson, chief advancement officer. "If not for those who envision making student dreams a reality, we would not be able to support student success."
