Day of Giving, Reimagined.
For four years, Day of Giving has been the day our Capital community shows up for our students. This fall, that same tradition you know and love is back with a new name and a new season. All In for Capital, our 36-hour giving challenge, is happening now, right before Homecoming weekend kicks off.
Weโre all in for our students: their curiosity, their courage, and their drive to lead and serve in their professions, communities, and callings. For the next 36 hours, alumni, parents, students, faculty, staff, and friends are coming together to show them just how deeply they are supported.
Every gift, no matter the size, is a vote of confidence in our students and in the future we are building together. Your support strengthens scholarships, academic programs, student experiences, and opportunities across campus.
You can choose how you make an impact by supporting:
- Athletics Booster Funds, empowering our student-athletes and teams. Every team is out to beat last yearโs donor total, so find your team and help them get there
- The Capital Fund and university departments, addressing the university's and departments' greatest needs
- The Law Excellence Fund, advancing the mission of the Law School
- The President's Excellence Fund, advancing the President's priorities for the student experience, including the Fill the Gap initiative that helps students facing unmet financial need stay on track to graduation
- The Student Support Fund, providing academic resources that help students succeed in the classroom
- The Student Emergency Fund, meeting students' urgent non-academic needs so they can stay focused on their education
- The Trinity Fund, supporting Trinity Lutheran Seminary and its work in the church and the world
This fall, our goal is 600 donors, and generous supporters are stepping up with challenges and matches to multiply your impact. Each one has its own milestones and timing, so visit the Matches & Challenges tab to see how your gift can go further, and check back often as new challenges unlock throughout the 36 hours.
All In for Capital is LIVE NOW and runs through 11:59 PM on Wednesday, October 21.
Join us. Share the message. Make your gift. Because we're all in for Capital, together.

We did it! For the last 36 hours, alumni, parents, friends, faculty, staff, and students came together to go all in for Capital, and we couldnโt be more grateful.
You gave, shared, cheered on your teams, and filled the Fountains with All In energy. Thanks to you and our generous challenge and match donors, every gift went even further for Capital students.
To every donor, advocate, coach, and volunteer: thank you. We felt your support every step of the way.
Keep an eye on your inbox tomorrow for a full recap of what we accomplished together, and we hope to see you on campus this weekend for Homecoming. Let's go Capital!
With gratitude,
Capital University Annual Giving Team

Thank you to everyone who stopped by the Fountains today! With free coffee, sunshine, and community, campus buzzed with All In energy.
We asked students to finish one sentence: โIโm all in for...โ Their answers said it all. Meeting new people. The friendships. Athletics. Nursing. Their sorority sisters. Community engagement at Capital. Again and again, students named the people and places that make Capital feel like home.
Every gift today helps make those friendships, classrooms, teams, and communities possible for the students you see here. Thank you for going All In with your gift and supporting their experiences.
With just under 8 hours left, you still have time to spread the word and invite your networks to go All In for our students!
