Hello everyone! My name is Bashnona Attiah, but y’all can call me Bash, and I am from Goldsboro, North Carolina. In my free time, you can find me watching or playing the beautiful game of fútbol, tricking out my car, or hitting the gym.
A fun quote I live by is, “Life is short. Smile while you still have teeth.” That lighthearted reminder to enjoy life is exactly what inspired me to throw my hat in the ring for Mr. CUSOM 2026!
Competing in a pageant was definitely not on my medical school to-do list, but after seeing the incredible impact this event has on our community, I knew it was a cause worth joining. The Mr. CUSOM fundraising efforts directly support the Campbell University Community Care Clinic (CUCCC)—a student-run clinic that provides free, high-quality medical care to those in our community who face barriers to healthcare access. It also gives CUSOM students invaluable, hands-on experiences allowing them to fine tune their skills as student doctors.
Your generous donations will help CUSOM students continue to deliver compassionate care to those in need across Harnett County. I kindly ask you to consider supporting the CUCCC as we work toward our shared goal of making excellent healthcare accessible to all.
