A note from Jackson:
Hello, my name is Jackson Wheatley. I am from Charlotte, North Carolina and I am a first year medical student at CUSOM. I have always had a passion for helping the underserved community, and the CCUCC is a way for me to pursue that passion. With the CCUCC, CUSOM provides quality healthcare to those who are in the greatest need. Volunteering at the clinic really makes me feel fulfilled and reminds me why I got into medicine in the first place. Not only that, but it also provides opportunities for medical students to learn firsthand and practice the ins and outs of being a doctor. Every year, the Mr. CUSOM Pageant show raises money for the CUCC. It is no secret that healthcare is expensive, and the CUCCC can use any amount that you can give. Anything helps!
