Exceptional Calvert experiences are made possible by those who make Calvert a philanthropic priority. Thanks to our donors' generous support, our students and teachers are equipped with the resources they need to expand their horizons, explore new subject matter, and dream BIG.
We know there are a lot of worthy causes you care about and may be supporting this year. Giving through Calvert means supporting the people who are at the heart of our school: our students, our teachers, our maintenance staff, and more. #GivingThroughsDay expands the reach of #GivingTuesday, celebrating philanthropy throughout the month of December - not just one day. Our goal is to reach 150 donors before December 31. And, if we reach 50 donors on #GivingTuesday (December 1), a generous donor will give an additional $10,000 to support the urgent needs of our students.
Your gift will pass through ➡️Calvert ➡️directly to our students through the issues you care passionately about. Learn what you can #GiveThrough to support ⬇️
#GivingThrough ➡️to Support Academics 📚: Are you passionate about Calvert Script, folder papers, Castalia projects, and the rigorous academics that define a Calvert education? Give through an academic program or department of your choice to support our young learners.
#GivingThrough ➡️to Support Athletics🐝: Are you a Hopper, Cricket, Crow, or Canary? Do you cheer for the Mighty Bees? Give through athletics to support Calvert's athletic programming, sportsmanship, and physical education.
#GivingThrough ➡️to Support Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion ⚖️: Are you ready to tackle issues of racial, social, and economic justice? We are too. Calvert's DEI programming supports workshops, trainings, research, and campus organizations to ensure our students are empathic citizens who listen, learn, and stand up for each other and the causes they believe in.
#GivingThrough ➡️to Support Entrepreneurship 💼: Want to help our students grow their leadership skills? Give through the Institute for Leadership & Purpose to cultivate leaders through class projects, community service, and local partnerships.
#GivingThrough ➡️to Support Financial Aid 💰: Are you passionate about making sure more boys and girls have access to a Calvert education? Give through financial aid to meet the most pressing and immediate needs of our school community. These flexible dollars are critical for Calvert to be able to respond to the rapidly changing financial circumstances of our students and families.
#GivingThrough ➡️to Support Teachers 🍎: Love our teachers? So do we. Calvert's teachers go above and beyond both in and out of the classroom. Give through our teachers to ensure Calvert is able to retain and recruit the very best faculty and staff through competitive compensation, benefits, and professional development opportunities.
#GivingThrough ➡️to Technology 💻: Are you invested in equipping students with the technological tools they need to be successful? Give through technology to support one-to-one devices, Owl Pro cameras for remote learning, improved security and bandwidth, and more.
Every dollar makes a difference. Your participation is what matters most.

Many individuals prefer gifts of appreciated stocks, bonds, and mutual funds when considering a donation to the Calvert Fund.
When you make a gift of securities to a charitable organization like Calvert, you benefit in the following ways:
- You receive a charitable income tax deduction, often for the full fair market value of your gift.
- If you make a gift, rather than sell your appreciated investment, you can avoid capital gains tax otherwise due.
- Because you are making a gift of an asset, your gift will not adversely affect your cash flow.
To make a gift of securities to Calvert, please have your broker initiate a transfer to Calvert's account at PNC:
