About

As we round the corner on the final months of 2020, we are reflecting back on the challenges we've faced this year. And while the year has been incredibly difficult for our school, we're also filled with tremendous pride in this community and how you've responded.

We are proud of our teachers, who have worked tirelessly to enhance the knowledge and curiosity of your children, while still providing an education that is filled with joy. Their normal summer months of rest were instead dedicated to professional development to enhance their skills as virtual educators. Their commitment is inspiring. Their care is boundless.

We are proud of our students, whose resilient spirits push us forward every day. Their creativity, adaptability, and love for learning gives us hope for the future. They energize us to forge ahead and reinforce the belief in our mission.

We are proud of our families and parents like you, who have faced unimaginable hardships and still find ways to give back in their own way, small and large. You have juggled more than ever with grace and kindness -- with patience, perseverance, and fortitude.

We are proud to have your confidence. What makes you proud? Help pass the pride. Learn more below!

Today, we're asking that you pass that pride throughout our community. Here's how:

  • Make a one time gift of any size, or make small, monthly contribution to provide sustained support to the Calvert community. All gifts will be matched $1 for $1 up to $16,000 thanks to a generous group of Calvert Fund leaders.
  • As you make your gift, share what makes you proud at Calvert.
  • Pass the pride by sharing this campaign with one (or more!) other Calvert parent. Share what made you proud, pass those good vibes along, and encourage them to do the same. Think of this like an awesome game of telephone, helping us spread joy and strength throughout our community.

Here's why your gift this year is more important than ever:

  • Our school needs to be nimble and able to respond quickly to the evolving needs of our students and teachers as COVID19 continues. Your gift to the Calvert Fund provides us with the flexibility to do just that, keeping our community safe, whole, and happy as we face new challenges.
  • Due to economic hardships caused by COVID19, the need for financial aid has increased significantly. We are proud to be able to meet that need, thanks in large part to the generosity of donors like you.
  • So far this year, gifts to the Calvert Fund have provided additional financial aid to our families, PPE for on-campus learning, advanced technology and faculty professional development to elevate our virtual learning, and additional personnel. These dollars are critical.
  • If we reach our 200 donor goal by November 15, we will unlock an additional $10,000 in matching funds. Every gift gets us closer to our match!
