Our students need financial support to make the most of professional development opportunities in our region, to maximize field experience and research, and to attend local and regional conferences for networking and to present their work. Our region needs experienced and well-trained geologists and our students are ready to fill that need - they just need our support to make the most of the available opportunities! The CSUSB community will benefit because our majors will be even more competitive for available opportunities, will have a richer educational experience while they are at CSUSB, and have a stronger sense of professional identity and belonging.
