Office of Student Research (OSR)

Mission: The OSR’s mission is to facilitate the research and creative activities of CSUSB graduate and undergraduate students by providing programs, activities, and funding opportunities.

Our Vision

The OSR aims to be the primary entity at CSUSB that facilitates students’ inquiry, discovery, and creativity across all disciplines. This will be achieved through:

• Faculty-Student Collaboration: Encouraging partnerships within and outside the classroom for research and creative activities.
• Participation Opportunities: Ensuring all CSUSB students have access to course- and mentor-based research and creative activities as part of their educational experience.
• Contributing to CSUSB’s Mission: Supporting a challenging and innovative environment to improve graduation rates, driven by teaching and research excellence, intellectual interaction, and creativity.
