GeoOpportunities for CSUSB Geology Students
Hello from all of us at CSUSB Geological Sciences! We’d like your support of Geo-Opportunities for our students. The best geologists have seen the most geology! Join our campaign to raise funds for student field and professional experiences to ensure every student can participate in opportunities like professional conferences, job site visits, and field experiences.
Our students need financial support to make the most of professional development opportunities in our region, to maximize field experience and research, and to attend local and regional conferences for networking and to present their work. Our current budgets are insufficient to support our students in these endeavors and we are unable to pay for their food and travel from our operating budget. Our region needs experienced and well-trained geologists and our students are ready to fill that need - they just need our support to make the most of the available opportunities! The CSUSB community will benefit because our majors will be even more competitive for available opportunities, will have a richer educational experience while they are at CSUSB, and have a stronger sense of professional identity and belonging.
Donations big and small will support undergraduate research projects, overnight field trips, and conference fees.
