Please support the new CSBS Student Success Center! Your donation will help fund student mentorship, community engagement opportunities, career preparedness, workshops, and more.

The College of Social and Behavioral Sciences’ (CSBS) Student Success Center provides holistic support to enhance the educational and professional development for approximately 5,000 students enrolled in academic programs in CSBS. We are asking for your generous donations to support the creation of small grants that will directly assist our students with basic needs, graduate application costs, and their participation in internships, research and study abroad activities. All funds will be awarded directly to CSBS students in Spring 2025. Last year funds that were raised went to support students with costs related to research, basic needs, professional licensure, and graduate school applications. Many of these vital needs are not funded by existing programs or awards on campus.
The CSBS Student Success Center provides the following services to our students:
- Academic planning
- Basic career exploration and development
- Major program exploration
- Facilitates connection to CSBS department chairs/faculty
- Internship coordination
- Assistance with identification of research opportunities
- Referrals to campus resources to support academic success
- College workshops promoting Professional development and wellness
- Peer mentoring
