The library Innovation Lab fills a unique niche within campus makerspaces. It’s open to all students regardless of their major, offering an inviting environment where students can explore their interests and creativity, try out new equipment and develop practical design, tool and technology skills. The makerspace is run by students for students, helping build connections that support academic and co-curricular engagement for our student employees and Lab visitors alike. The purpose of our campaign is to expand the makerspace’s appeal and capacity to serve students across campus by investing in additional 3D printers and arts-based making equipment. Donors can be confident that all donations to the project will directly support a resource open to all students, meeting the needs of the general student population, as well as student organizations and even staff from other campus departments. Adding new types of equipment to our makerspace will support new types of projects such as designing and mending clothes, creating logos and branded items, and integrating fabrics with electronics and 3D printed objects.

Join us in expanding access to making on campus!
$5,000 will provide the library with new makerspace equipment for students.
