About

We at the Cab Calloway School Fund are so appreciative of the support from our community of families, donors, alumni and foundations during the past year.

We operate behind the scenes year-round as a separate nonprofit organization that supplements the school’s budget with additional programming and resources for both Cab students and students in the greater Wilmington community.

The Cab Calloway School Fund's mission is to support innovative programming, fund state-of-the-art technology, launch new initiatives, and provide outreach and scholarships to underserved community through our SMArtSummer camp and our Mentoring Program.

We're asking you to consider a gift to our Annual Appeal so this important work can continue. It's the perfect way to celebrate Cab's 30th Anniversary year!

Here's just a few reasons why your gift this year is more important than ever:

· Due to economic hardships caused by Inflation, the need for financial aid has increased significantly. We are proud to be able to meet that need, thanks in large part to the generosity of donors like you.

· Our mentoring program is in the midst of its third successful year! This program offers our most vulnerable students within the greater community an opportunity to perfect their artistic talents with the guidance of our Cab Calloway Majors and highly qualified instructors. We are very excited to offer this program and your donations are critical to its success.

· The Cab Fund has provided much needed technology for The Cab Recording Studio, advanced technology for students, faculty professional development to elevate our in-person learning, and additional teaching personnel. Our needs are essential to the success of our students and the Cab community.
