Gifts to Wrestling (Grappler Club) contribute to...

"Bucknell Wrestling donors not only champion the dreams of our student-athletes, both on and off the mat, but they also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our program. Your generosity creates a meaningful experience for our wrestlers, fostering an environment where they can thrive and excel while earning a Bucknell degree. To our alumni, parents and friends: we extend our deepest gratitude for your continued support as valued members of our Bucknell Wrestling family. Your commitment ensures that current and future generations of Bison wrestlers can boldly pursue their aspirations. GO BISON!" - Head Coach Dan Wirnsberger
The Bucknell wrestling team turned in a strong showing at the 2026 EIWA Championships at American University. The Bison placed third as a team, crowned two EIWA champions for the first time, and qualified five wrestlers for the NCAA Championships in Cleveland. Myles Takats (174) and Dillon Bechtold (197) notched their first EIWA titles -- the sixth and seventh in Bucknell history -- while Noah Mulvaney (165) earned runner-up honors for the second consecutive season and Dylan Chappell (141) notched third place. Those four, along with 184-pounder Tyler Bienus, earned NCAA bids. This is the third year in a row the Bison have five wrestlers at NCAAs. The Bison performed well in the classroom last semester, with the team combining for a 3.40 GPA.
