Gifts to Women's Rowing contribute to...

"I am honored to be the head coach of the Bison women's rowing program and work every day with an amazing group of women. I have already met many of our alumnae, and it's been rewarding to hear about how their experiences as a student-athlete at Bucknell shaped their lives after graduation. We are looking to keep that tradition of excellence going, and we would not be able to do it without the generous support from so many of you in Bison Nation. Please consider making a gift on One Herd One Day and know that it will have a direct impact on this storied program." - Head Rowing Coach Katy Ruderman
For the first time in 30 years, the Bison rowing program is under new leadership as Katy Ruderman was named head coach last July after a successful three-year stint as associate head coach and recruiting coordinator at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. The Bison hit the ground running with strong performances against high-level competition at the Head of the Charles and Princeton Chase in the fall. The 2026 spring campaign gets going with a trip back to the Charles River in Boston in late march and really heats up in April and May, culminating with the Patriot League Championships on May 15 on the Cooper River in Cherry Hill, N.J. The rowing team also traditionally performs well academically, and the group combined for a 3.50 GPA in the fall 2025 semester.
