It has been a banner decade for the Bison women's basketball program, and after a couple of down seasons, the Bison tied for fourth place and made a run to the Patriot League Tournament semifinals in 2024-25. Key injuries impacted the team in 2025-26, but the Bison recently enjoyed a run of nine straight winning seasons and six straight 20-win seasons. From 2015-16 through 2021-22, the Bison fashioned a 159-47 record, including an eye-popping 100-16 conference ledger. Bucknell won league titles and made NCAA Tournament appearances in 2017 and 2019, and the team was favored again in both of the pandemic-impacted seasons. Just as strong in the classroom as on the hardwood, the team compiled an outstanding 3.53 GPA in the fall 2025 semester.
