One season after finishing three points away from a league title, the Bison finished 5-7 in 2025 as some key injuries proved impactful. A 33-28 win over Patriot League newcomer Richmond was one of the highlights of the season. Sam Milligan (WR/special teams) and Matt Schearer (K/P) both earned All-Patriot League honors at two positions, and QB Ralph Rucker, the 2024 PL Offensive Player of the Year, graduated with most of Bucknell's season and career passing records. Senior John Ohnegian was named to the FCS ADA Academic All-Star Team, and the Bison turned in a strong 3.35 team GPA and placed a league-high 65 players on the PL Academic Honor Roll. Jeff Behrman was named the 28th Bob Odell Head Football Coach on New Year's Day. He has assembled a quality staff and is now gearing up for the spring practice session.
