Gifts to Baseball contribute to...

"Many of the capabilities we offer as a program to our present players stem from the backing we receive from those who came before them. This reflects the appreciation our alumni have for the experiences at Bucknell and their sense of accomplishment in contributing to what subsequent generations can achieve. We express gratitude to all who have worn the Orange & Blue, as well as our parents, families and friends for their contributions in advancing Bison Baseball." - Head Coach Scott Heather
The Bison baseball team advanced to the Patriot League Tournament championship series in 2022 and 2023, and in 2024 the squad fell at Army in a gut-wrenching three-game semifinal series. Last year's team was hit hard by injuries to the pitching staff along with the loss of a tremendous senior class, led by Toronto Blue Jays fourth-round draft pick Sean Keys. After missing the four-team PL Tournament last year, Scott Heather's team is counting on a number of young players to step into prominent roles, joining returning all-star bats Michael Trommer and Ryan Facinelli along with staff ace Jonathan Adelmann. So far so good, as the Bison are off to a 5-1 start in Patriot League play. The baseball squad also excelled academically in the fall, with a 3.54 team GPA that was one of the best among all Bucknell men's programs.
