Bucknell had a run of six straight seasons with .500 or better records end last spring, and the Bison are looking to bounce back and start a new streak in 2025. Senior Whitney King is a two-time First Team All-Patriot League and Academic All-Patriot League honoree, and she is climbing Bucknell’s all-time victory charts. Tammy Cecchini’s squad has also gotten big contributions from the sophomore and freshman classes this season. Colgate hosts the 2025 Patriot League Championship Apr. 24-27. Thanks to a donor-funded facility enhancement, all of the home outdoor matches at the Varsity Tennis Courts will be live streamed this spring. Women's tennis is traditionally one of Bucknell's best in the classroom, and the 2024 fall semester was no different as the team combined for an eye-popping 3.81 GPA, which was the best among all Bucknell teams.
