"Contributions from our alumni, parents and friends play a pivotal role in enhancing the journey of our dedicated Bucknell Volleyball student-athletes. Your generosity during One Herd One Day and throughout the year directly supports the essential expenses that enable us to excel in the Patriot League. On behalf of our team, a heartfelt thank you to every donor for their role in elevating our program and providing a memorable student-athlete experience." - Head Coach Tyler Hagstrom
The Bucknell volleyball team’s rapid ascent in the Patriot League standings continued this fall, as the Bison finished 21-5 overall and 13-3 in conference play. Bucknell was the No. 2 seed in the Patriot League Tournament, but some injuries caught up to Tyler Hagstrom’s squad late in the year, and the Bison were upset by Army in five sets in the semifinals. Hagstrom, who was named Patriot League Coach of the Year, is in his fifth season at Bucknell. His first was the COVID-shortened spring season, and then in 2021 the rebuilding Bison went 3-13 in league play. In the three years since then, they have improved to 8-8, 11-5, and 13-3, making the postseason in all three campaigns. Jordan Hardy, who broke the school record for career digs, repeated as Patriot League Libero of the Year. Caleigh O’Connell was named PL Setter of the Year. Bri Frazilus and Sidney Shaffer joined them on the All-Patriot League First Team, giving Bucknell four First Team honorees for the first time in program history. Hardy and O’Connell also made the Academic All-Patriot League squad, and the Bison combined for a strong 3.47 team GPA.
