Gifts to Men's Tennis contribute to...

"The unwavering support we receive from our alums, parents and friends of the program is truly invaluable to Bucknell Men's Tennis. Your generosity fuels our student-athletes' endeavors, making possible essential aspects of their journey such as challenging matches and state-of-the-art training tools. Your contributions play a pivotal role in elevating the overall experience for our team and positioning us to vie for a Patriot League championship. Your commitment and support are appreciated and you are an integral part of the Bison Men's Tennis family. Go Bison!" - Head Coach Jason Cohen
Bucknell has one of its strongest men’s tennis teams in recent history, thanks to an outstanding junior class featuring Amar Tahirovic, Adam Stavrakas, Oscar Bain Moreno de Vega, and Brendan McDonald. Tahirovic and Stavrakas are two of the best players in the Patriot League, and they both made it to the final at the Patriot League qualifier for the ITA Conference Masters. Tahirovic represented the Bison in singles at that tournament in Georgia, and he advanced to the quarterfinals before falling to a highly ranked player from Notre Dame, just one win shy of an NCAA bid. The Bison are off to a strong start in the spring dual-match season. The highlight so far is a 4-1 win over Army, which was Bucknell’s first victory over the Black Knights since 1974. Bucknell will host the 2025 Patriot League Tournament Apr. 17-20. Thanks to a donor-funded facility enhancement, all of the home outdoor matches at the Varsity Tennis Courts will be live streamed this spring.
