Gifts to Field Hockey contribute to...

"Donor support is the backbone of our program and is vital for elevating the student-athlete experience. Our team thrives thanks to the generous contributions of our alumni, parents and friends. As I reflect on my first two years in Lewisburg, I am beyond thankful for the support our program has received. To the entire Bucknell Field Hockey family: THANK YOU! If you are in a position to give during One Herd One Day, I urge you to support our amazing student-athletes. Your generosity is truly valued and appreciated. Thank you for being part of their journey and GO BISON!" - Head Coach Kelsey Kolojejchick
The Bison went 8-9 overall and 4-2 in the Patriot League this season. Head coach Kelsey Kolojejchick, a former North Carolina All-American and U.S. Olympian, guided Bucknell back to the four-team Patriot League Tournament for the 17th straight year and 27th time overall. The Bison were highly decorated when it came to postseason awards. Senior Lily Neilson became the first player in Patriot League history to win Offensive Player of the Year three times, and junior Kira Leclercq was picked as the Defensive Player of the Year. Both made the NFHCA All-Region Team, and Neilson went on to earn Third Team All-America honors. Bucknell’s first two-time All-American, Neilson graduates as the program’s all-time leader in goals (60) and points (126). Those records had previously been established by Hall-of-Famer Karin Wegener Knisely in 1978. The field hockey team combined for a stellar 3.63 GPA last fall and was named an NFCA National Academic Team.
