Cheerleading

The Bucknell cheerleading team, led by first-year head coach Kasi Mitchell, is a highly competitive squad that not only supports Bucknell teams at games and community events throughout the year but also performs well at competitions of its own. The coed team has won numerous medals at national meets in recent years. The cheerleading squad also includes the Bucky the Bison mascot, which signed a landmark "NIL" deal with Service 1st Federal Credit Union in 2022, allowing for Bucky to make more paid appearances in the community.
