Gifts to Wrestling contribute to...

"Bucknell Wrestling donors not only champion the dreams of our student-athletes, both on and off the mat, but they also play a pivotal role in shaping the future of our program. Your generosity creates a meaningful experience for our wrestlers, fostering an environment where they can thrive and excel while earning a Bucknell degree. To our alumni, parents and friends: we extend our deepest gratitude for your continued support as valued members of our Bucknell Wrestling family. Your commitment ensures that current and future generations of Bison wrestlers can boldly pursue their aspirations. GO BISON!" - Head Coach Dan Wirnsberger
The Bison wrestling program has had quite a bit to celebrate in recent years. Coach Dan Wirnsberger’s group witnessed alums Andy Rendos, Kevin LeValley, and David Marble take their place in the Bucknell Athletics Hall of Fame in three consecutive induction classes, and in 2022 the Bison graduated two-time All-American, two-time Academic All-American and four-time NCAA qualifier Zach Hartman. Bucknell recently hosted the EIWA Championships in Sojka Pavilion for the third time and landed six placewinners, including a pair of runners-up in Dylan Chappell and Dorian Crosby. Bucknell will be sending five wrestlers to the 2024 NCAA Championships in Kansas City — its most qualifiers in eight years. The Bison also performed well in the classroom last semester with the team combining for a 3.20 GPA and 11 student-athletes making the Dean's List with at least a 3.50.
