Youth has been the theme for Tammy Cecchini's women's tennis team in recent years. Her 2021-22 squad had only one senior and last year’s team had none. Despite the team’s relative inexperience, Bucknell did fashion its sixth straight season with a .500 or better record last spring and the Bison will be looking to build off last year's run to the Patriot League Tournament semifinals. Junior Whitney King is coming off an outstanding season that culminated in First Team All-Patriot League and Academic All-Patriot League honors. Women's tennis is traditionally one of Bucknell's best in the classroom and the 2023 fall semester was no different as the team combined for a 3.58 GPA.
