About

"On behalf of Bucknell Women's Soccer, we are grateful for the unwavering support we receive from our alumni, parents and friends. The impact of your generous contributions on One Herd One Day and throughout the year echoes in our program's ascent to 7-time Patriot League Champions including the last three consecutive years. Your vital role has propelled us to new heights, ensuring a first-class Division I experience for our student-athletes. Together, we'll continue to compete for championships, fueled by your commitment and belief in our program. Thank you for being the driving force behind our success." - Head Coach Kelly Cook

No Bucknell team has seen more success in the last eight years than Kelly Cook's women's soccer program. The Bison won back-to-back Patriot League championships in 2016 and 2017 and then they surpassed that feat by winning a third consecutive title last fall. Led by two-time Patriot League Goalkeeper of the Year Jenna Hall and two-time PL Midfielder of the Year Teresa Deda, this “Three Peat” run will go down as one of the greatest stretches in league history. Only two other teams in the 34-year history of the league have won as many as three championships in a row. In 2023, the Bison defeated Boston University 3-1 in the Patriot League Tournament semifinals and then for the second year in a row, beat top-seeded Army on its home field in a penalty kick shootout. Hall turned in a performance for the ages, making 13 saves in regulation and overtime and she saved three shots in the shootout. Bucknell went on to play a Big Ten squad in the NCAA Tournament for the third straight year, this time drawing Big Ten Tournament champion Iowa. For the second straight year, the Bison took the game to overtime before conceding a goal in extra time. Women's soccer also continues to be one of Bucknell's best academic squads year in and year out. While claiming a league title in the fall, the team combined for a 3.51 GPA with 18 women named to the Dean’s List.
