Gifts to Women's Lacrosse contribute to...

"The strength of the team is each individual member. The strength of each member is the team.
As a program, we have recently been using this quote and focusing on the true meaning of teamwork and having support on and off the field. Each of our 34 players brings something special and unique to our team and the strength of each is the team.
I see OHOD as another opportunity to unite our larger lacrosse 'team,' and energize our families, alumni, friends and fans.
Our team is incredibly grateful for the support from our large BUWL family. Your donation has a lasting impact on the student-athlete experience at Bucknell and fuels the growth of the program. A heartfelt thanks from the entire Bucknell Women's Lacrosse team!” - Head Coach Jackie Dando
Head coach Jackie Dando's women's lacrosse team has made major strides over the last two seasons. Competing in a league that started the 2024 season with three teams ranked in the top-25 nationally, the Bison are attempting to get back to the Patriot League Tournament for the first time since 2017 and they have just missed in each of the last two seasons thanks to a couple of close road losses. This year’s squad brings back more than 90 percent of its offensive production from a year ago when the Bison scored their most goals in six years. Heading the group is junior Allie Boyce, who last season became just the second player in team history to record 50 goals in a season. Women's lacrosse is annually one of Bucknell's top-performing teams academically and last fall was no exception. The team combined for a 3.63 team GPA which was tied for the second-highest among all Bison programs with 26 of 34 student-athletes on the roster making the Dean's List with a 3.50 or better.
