Dan Schinnerer's swimming and diving squads continue to rank among the Patriot League's best. The women's team is 47-12 in dual meets over the last seven seasons. The team placed in the top three five straight Patriot League Championships, including runner-up finishes in 2020 and 2022, before finishing fourth this season. The men's team is 19-8 in duals over the last three seasons and has finished third in five of the last seven conference meets. Both squads continue to rewrite the Bucknell record book and Coach Schinnerer earned Patriot League Coach of the Year Honors for the women in 2020 and the men in 2022. The teams also continue to excel academically with some of the highest team GPAs among all of Bucknell’s varsity sports. In the fall of 2023, the Bison women produced a 3.62 team GPA, which was just a two-hundredths of a point off the best in the department. The men’s team’s 3.50 GPA was second-best among all Bison men’s programs.
