Jason Cohen guided the Bison to an outstanding 2022-23 season after taking over as head coach just prior to the start of the fall tournament session. Last spring, Bucknell finished 15-8 in dual matches, 4-3 in the Patriot League and the team was just a few points away from advancing to the Patriot League Tournament final. After knocking off Lehigh in the quarterfinals, the Bison had top-seeded Navy on the brink in the semis but the Midshipmen rallied to pull out a 4-3 verdict. This year’s squad has five lineup regulars back, including First Team All-Patriot League sophomore Amar Tahirovic in the No. 1 spot, along with an impactful first-year class. Cohen’s squad had a banner fall academically, leading all Bison men’s programs with a 3.55 team GPA.
