Gifts to Club Varsity - Men's Crew contribute to...

"Bucknell Men's Crew excels on the national stage, propelled by the unwavering backing of our incredible network of alumni, family and friends. One Herd One Day stands as a pivotal moment for our program, a day where our dedicated supporters directly shape the trajectory of our current and future student-athletes. Heartfelt gratitude to all who contribute on One Herd One Day and throughout the year; your generosity remains the cornerstone of our success." - Head Coach Dan Wolleben
Your gift to Bucknell Crew this year will support the following:
- Travel expenses for races and practices
- A Coach bus for the week-long trip to the ACRAs in Tennessee
- Concept 2 Rowing machines and bikes
- Oars
- New coaching launch and engine
The Bison men's crew team operates at the club-varsity level, with all funding coming directly from fundraised dollars and student fees. The program has maintained a long tradition of success in the rowing ranks. Last spring, Bucknell won bronze medals in the Second Varsity Eight and Third Varsity Eight on the way to a sixth-place team finish at the ACRA National Championship in Oak Ridge, Tenn. Three weeks earlier, the team claimed its second consecutive Mid-Atlantic Rowing Conference Championship. This year's squad just wrapped up a productive spring break trip that included a successful scrimmage with UVA in Virginia. The team is excited for the racing season and is looking forward to competing for podium placements at the ACRA National Championship again this May.
Setting One Herd One Day records of 446 donors and $123,651 raised in 2023, Coach Wolleben is counting on every member of the Bucknell Crew family to help continue to provide a first-class experience for his dedicated student-athletes. Gifts made during One Herd One Day are vital in helping the crew program reach its annual fundraising goal while continuing to compete for ACRA national championships.
Thank you for helping us provide a championship-level experience!
