The Bucknell football team demonstrated resilience in 2023, concluding the season on a high note and carrying strong momentum into the offseason. The Bison made strides offensively highlighted by a 49-34 win over Colgate in late-October. Transfer quarterback Ralph Rucker made an immediate impact, breaking program records for single-game passing yards (387), single-season passing yards (2,537), single-season passing completions (211) and tying the single-season passing touchdowns record (21). Coleman Bennett, John Ohnegian and Ethan Robinson were all named to the Academic All-Patriot League Team as the Bison fashioned a 3.35 team GPA.
