Gifts to Field Hockey contribute to...

"Donor support is the backbone of our program and is vital for elevating the student-athlete experience. Our team thrives thanks to the generous contributions of our alumni, parents and friends. As I reflect on my first two years in Lewisburg, I am beyond thankful for the support our program has received. To the entire Bucknell Field Hockey family: THANK YOU! If you are in a position to give during One Herd One Day, I urge you to support our amazing student-athletes. Your generosity is truly valued and appreciated. Thank you for being part of their journey and GO BISON!" - Head Coach Kelsey Kolojejchick
Bucknell finished 8-9 overall and 3-3 in the Patriot League in year No. 2 under former North Carolina All-American and U.S. Olympian Kelsey Kolojejchick. Seven of the team’s losses came by just a single goal including verdicts against nationally ranked Penn State and UMass Lowell as well as overtime heartbreakers against traditional Patriot League powers American and Boston University. The Bison qualified for the four-team PL Tournament for the 16th straight year and 26th time overall. Junior Lily Neilson not only repeated as the Patriot League Offensive Player of the Year but she also went on to earn Second Team All-America honors. Neilson is the third All-American in team history joining Third Team honorees Lauren Campbell (2001) and Kaelyn Long (2020-21). Neilson and Rachel Apa were both Academic All-Patriot League selections as the team combined for a stellar 3.53 GPA last fall. Bucknell recently had 13 student-athletes named to the NFHCA National Academic Squad and the Bison received a National Academic Team Award in recognition of its GPA.
