Head coach Ashley Frankel continues to oversee a highly competitive cheer squad that not only supports Bucknell teams at games and community events throughout the year but also performs well at competitions of its own. The 20-person roster is one of the team's largest in several years and the squad recently won Superior Awards for Fight Song Performance and Sideline Performance at the UCA College Camp at Scranton University. The cheerleading squad also includes the Bucky the Bison mascot, which signed a landmark "NIL" deal with Service 1st Federal Credit Union in 2022 allowing for Bucky to make more paid appearances in the community.
