The Bison baseball team has advanced to the Patriot League Tournament championship series in each of the last two years. Bucknell eclipsed the 20-win mark while also posting winning records in league play in both 2022 and 2023. Last spring, the Bison swept Navy in a best-two-of-three semifinal series before falling to five-time defending champion Army in the finals. All-Patriot League shortstop Anthony Sherwin signed with the Houston Astros last summer but the Bison still return six regulars from last year’s lineup, including All-Patriot Leaguers Sean Keys (3B), Grant Voytovich (OF), Jacob Corson (OF), and Billy Kender (2B). Prior to the season, Keys was named by D1Baseball.com as the No. 7 third baseman in the nation. Bucknell was picked second behind Army in the 2024 preseason poll. The baseball squad also excelled academically in the fall with a 3.36 team GPA that was one of the best among all Bucknell men's programs.
