April 1 marks the first day of DIII Week, the NCAA Division III wide celebration of scholar-athletes and their accomplishments on and off the field. Today also marks a first in Bryn Mawr College Athletics! Thanks to a generous alumna donor and Trustee, Severa von Wentzel ’95, we are kicking off a Giving Challenge for Athletics during the month of April. So far this year, we have raised $35,000. Starting today, for every dollar donated to a specific team or the Athletics department, Severa will triple the impact of your donation. So, if you donate $100, Severa will donate $200 to the department until her gift reaches $50,000! Go Owls!
