2025 Family Giving Challenge

The Annual Family Giving Challenge is Here!

This challenge generates significant funds to support a Bryn Mawr education. In the final push to the last day of classes, Bryn Mawr College parents and family members compete to provide their Mawrter’s class with an ice cream truck study break during the ever-stressful final exam period.

How it works:
The class with the greatest number of parent and family member donors by Sunday, May 4 will win free ice cream and water ice from John's Water Ice to be enjoyed as a study break on Tuesday, May 6.

Be a leader:
Participate today and see your family’s name on the leader board. Every gift counts and helps your student’s class lead the donor participation count. Bryn Mawr families make donations from $10, $50, $500 to $2,500 or more to the College.

Why now?
Before finals begin, the College community will come together on Sunday, May 4 for May Day—a beloved student spring tradition at Bryn Mawr full of festivity. The first May Day was held at the College as a fundraiser and helped generate significant funds for enhancements to the institution in the early years of the school’s founding. Today, we are asking our parents and families to continue this tradition of philanthropy
