Rhodes School of Arts and Humanities

The creation of the Rhodes School recognizes the central role the arts and humanities play in Bridgewater’s liberal arts mission to educate the whole person and graduate engaged citizens.

The school includes the following departments:

Department of Communication Studies and Theatre
Department of English
Department of History and Political Science
Department of Music
Department of Philosophy and Religion
Department of Sociology
Department of World Languages and Cultures

The Rhodes School also houses the Screamin' Eagles Marching Band and eSports.

Yesterday was Founder's Day, celebrating our past. Today is Day of Giving…creating connections for our future! We want to highlight the year of our founding: 1880!
