Gifts to Heller School for Social Policy & Management contribute to...

When this year's incoming class of Heller students arrived on campus for orientation, they described feelings of resiliency, gratitude, optimism, persistence, and uncertainty at the start of their Heller journeys. These descriptors are a testimony to the character of our students and to the community of caring that surrounds them.
Can you help make this network of support visible on this Giving DEISDay? Our funding priorities include causes like the student enrichment funds through the Heller Annual Fund, the Heller School Fellowship Fund, and the Heller Dean’s Discretionary Fund to address the school’s greatest needs. Student enrichment funds augment students’ academic journeys by helping them purchase classroom materials, attend professional conferences, and support dissertation research expenses.
A student writes: “This award allowed me to continue classes with all materials necessary, without having the added stress of not being able to afford the books needed. By lifting this financial burden, you have deeply impacted my semester in a positive way.”
- A gift of $25 can buy a textbook;
- $500 can send a student to a career building conference;
- and $3,000 can provide a PhD student with the materials and resources necessary to complete their dissertation.
When you support the Heller School Fellowship Fund, you are shoring up student success by reducing their tuition costs, which enables them to focus on their academic program with less financial stress in their daily lives.
Your gift, no matter the size, will go far! A generous member of the Heller School Board of Advisors has stepped forward to match an additional $5,000 gift once we reach 100 donors!
Thank you in advance for your support of Heller students!
We just reached 1,948 donors to Brandeis and unlocked an additional $200,000 for Brandeis! Thank you to everyone who gave so generously in support of our students.
The site will remain open through Homecoming Weekend as other challenges are on the cusp of unlocking more bonus funds!
- GSAS needs 20 donors to unlock $1,800
- The Alumni Board Challenge will unlock $135,000 when we receive 6 more donors to The Brandeis Fund or General Scholarships!
- All gifts to General Scholarships will be matched dollar for dollar, up to $50,000!
Thank you to our donors and to our global community of Brandeisians.

There are still challenges at play as we strive to reach 1,948 donors to Brandeis!
- Gifts to General Scholarship are DOUBLED
- Heller needs 16 donors to unlock $5,000!
- Waltham Group needs 17 donors to unlock $2,000!
Athletics Challenges Still in Play
- Tennis needs $750 to unlock $750
- Men's Basketball or XCTF could unlock $1,000 with as few as 23 donors each

And ultimately, you can give wherever you'd like and support what you feel most connected to. It all adds up and helps us unlock an additional $100,000 for Brandeis!
