Founded on Jan. 9, 1914, Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. ΦΒΣ uplifts the motto “culture for service and service for humanity.” The Epsilon Phi chapter of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. is an active member of the National Pan-Hellenic Conference (NPHC), whose memberships’ primary purpose and focus remains community awareness and action through educational, economic and cultural service activities. NPHC is an umbrella organization for nine historically black, inter/national Greek-lettered organizations that evolved during a period when African-Americans were being denied essential rights and privileges afforded to other college students.
Contributions to Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity Inc. enhance a wide range of initiatives, including but not limited to, educational programming; leadership development; reimbursements for Conclave, Regional, and State Conference expenses; chapter growth and development.
