Founded on Nov. 17, 1911, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. ΩΨΦ uplifts the motto “friendship is essential to the soul.” The Delta Epsilon chapter of Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. is an active member of the National Pan-Hellenic Conference (NPHC), whose memberships’ primary purpose and focus remains community awareness and action through educational, economic, and cultural service activities. NPHC is an umbrella organization for nine historically black, inter/national Greek-lettered organizations that evolved during a period when African-Americans were being denied essential rights and privileges afforded to other college students.
Contributions to Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Inc. enhance a wide range of initiatives, including but not limited to, student support; educational programming; leadership development; conferences and conference travel; reimbursements for building amenities and upgrades purchased by the University for common spaces as coordinated and approved by Residence Life; and speakers fees, training materials and venue rental for training. All disbursements must have an educational purpose.
