Founded on Jan. 5, 1911, Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc KAΨ uplifts the motto “achievement in every field of human endeavor.” The Zeta Nu chapter of Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. is an active member of the National Pan-Hellenic Conference (NPHC), whose memberships’ primary purpose and focus remains community awareness and action through educational, economic and cultural service activities. NPHC is an umbrella organization for nine historically black, inter/national Greek-lettered organizations that evolved during a period when African-Americans were being denied essential rights and privileges afforded to other college students.
Contributions to Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Inc. enhance a wide range of initiatives, including but not limited to, student support; educational programming; leadership development; conferences and conference travel; reimbursements for building amenities and upgrades purchased by the University for common spaces as coordinated and approved by Residence Life; and speakers fees, training materials and venue rental for training. All disbursements must have an educational purpose.”
