Presidential Priorities

BGSU One Day, our annual day of giving, is defined by impact. Since its launch eight years ago, our alumni and supporters have raised millions of dollars on BGSU One Day to create opportunities for our current and future students and elevate the BG experience.

If you are able, I hope you will join us in supporting BGSU One Day. It will be an all-out effort to engage with our supporters in all 50 states, as well as countries around the world. This year, we are highlighting three funds in support of BGSU students, faculty and staff.

Pay It Forward Scholars Fund

The Pay It Forward Scholars Fund supports undergraduate students whose financial need cannot be met by other sources. Their need is often caused by unanticipated, significant life events and may prevent them from completing their degree. The scholarship seeks to support recipients and foster an appreciation and understanding of a responsibility to pay it forward.

Student Emergency Fund

The Student Emergency Fund helps BGSU students who experience an accident, illness, financial hardship or other emergency that may jeopardize their ability to continue their education. A gift to this fund helps students recover financially and demonstrates support from Falcons everywhere.

The University Activities Organization (UAO) Fund

The University Activities Organization (UAO) Fund supports student experiences and learning opportunities by providing student-focused, social and educational programs for the Bowling Green State University learning community. UAO supports the launch of student-led ideas across our learning community and provides student leadership opportunities and professional development for students throughout their collegiate experience – from attending professional conferences to leading student programs and initiatives.

As a public university for the public good, your support is incredibly important. Any gift, in any amount, makes a difference.
