Cycling Team

The Boston University Cycling Club has had an incredible season thanks to the generous support we received on Giving Day, which proved vital in enabling our team to compete at premier races across the Northeast. These funds allowed us to travel to challenging events, including the Dartmouth Invitational, the Army Invitational at West Point, and races at UVM and beyond, where our riders earned multiple podium finishes and victories that showcased the strength and dedication of our team. Off the course, we've been building a stronger foundation for our members by organizing team bike maintenance workshops, where experienced cyclists share their knowledge with newer riders to help everyone keep their bikes race-ready and safe.

Thanks to the crucial support from our donors, we've been able to lower our general membership dues this year, making competitive cycling more accessible to all BU students regardless of their financial circumstances. Your donations help us cover essential operational costs such as travel expenses, race registration fees, and USA Cycling licensing requirements. Most importantly, your generosity provides our student-athletes access to the equipment and resources they need to compete at the collegiate level, from trainers for off-season preparation to comfortable accommodations near distant race venues.

This year, the first $25 given by each unique alumni donor will be matched by a generous benefactor of our club sports program, and the three clubs with the most donors each day from the 14th through the 16th will be awarded extra funds.
