The Professor William Keylor Travel Grant Program is the flagship opportunity for institutionally supported undergraduate student research at the Pardee School. What students learn in the classroom and on campus are essential, but nothing beats putting that newfound knowledge to work on the ground. That is why we put travel at the center of the educational experience. Travel helps our undergraduate students see the world and its challenges up close. They conduct field research in the United States and abroad, deepening their understanding of their chosen specialty. Through their travel, students gain new insights into global issues and the ways they might help address them, not just at Pardee but throughout their careers.
By supporting the Pardee School’s travel grants, you open the door to global travel opportunities that students otherwise would not have access to. A gift in support of student travel can expand the reach and impact of our young scholars as they seek to change the world for the better. Recent Keylor Fund recipients have studied refugees in Syria, the lingering affects of apartheid in South Africa, and environmental peacebuilding in Niger. With your support, we can provide more opportunities for Pardee students to go into the field to conduct research and find solutions to the most important challenges facing the world today.
