The Elizabeth L. Leonard Fellowship Fund in Poetry provides annual fellowship awards to graduate students in poetry who are enrolled in the Creative Writing Program, with a preference for students who are teaching or otherwise involved in an academic placement at the Boston Arts Academy. Donations will be used to supplement financial aid packages for outstanding poets with a commitment to serving their community.
Your support allows us to recognize outstanding poets who commit to supporting young writers in the Boston community. Poets placed at Boston Arts Academy (BAA) spend time teaching high school students creative writing both inside and outside of the classroom. BAA is a public school for the performing arts that utilizes an academic-blind, audition-based admissions system.
