Professional Experience Grant (PEGs)

Professional Experience Grants (PEGs) are a powerful way to help students turn their academic experience into real-world opportunity. Offered through support from donors during ALL IN Day of Giving, PEGs provide funding to make high-impact professional experiences more accessible—giving students the chance to gain the transferable skills, confidence, and connections they need for life after college.

Whether it's a dream internship, presenting research at a national conference, studying abroad, or participating in a creative performance, PEGs help cover costs like travel, living expenses, and program fees that may otherwise be out of reach.

PEGs support a wide range of professional experiences, including:

• Faculty-mentored research and creative projects that demonstrate mastery and prepare students for graduate school or future careers.

• Internships that offer practical, hands-on learning and build networks within a chosen field.

• Global and travel-based experiences like study abroad, service-learning projects, and conference attendance that expand cultural awareness and global readiness.

All full-time degree-seeking students at Commonwealth University campuses are eligible to apply for one PEG per academic year.
